Since the last ten or eleven days, I’m getting used to DVORAK keyboard layout. It’s triggered by an interesting fact about QWERTY keyboard I found in the book Awaken the Giant Within : How to Take Immediate Control of Your Mental, Emotional, Physical and Financial Destiny!. The author states that the popularity of QWERTY layout was caused by less scientific reason. This dragged me to learn DVORAK layout as an alternative, something that I procrastinate for quite long time.
Now that I found a reason to mastering DVORAK. It’s not so hard thing to do, thanks to Keybr.com that provide a learning platform of typing lessons. Here is my learning progress on it.
Nevertheless, I still using QWERTY to type this post. LOL! As we realize, that changing habit is not that easy, right? At any rate, though, I have tried changing my habit of typing, and I have put quite discipline effort on this learning process so far. Even though it’s still far from proficient, I begin quite getting used to DVORAK, anyway. Wish me luck!
